JUNE 2025
The HOA board thought it would be helpful if we gave you information about your duties as homeowners in Meadow Walk. To that end, please know that we have a Modification/Enforcement committee comprised of three non-board members.
So for example, if you intend to make modifications to the exterior of your homes, beyond the ordinary such as replacement windows or new roofing, we have a process for you to follow to make sure you are operating within the guidelines set forth in our governing documents. To start the approval process and before any work has begun, you should contact Nancy Woodrow, the lead member of the modifications/enforcement committee. She will guide you through the necessary steps. She and the other committee members will work with you, and, if necessary the HOA board, to approve or deny the changes requested. If denied, she will be able to advisé you of the appeal process. But everything about the process is in the documents posted on the HOA website. Ask before you begin making any changes is probably a good idea.
We trust that each homeowner has an interest in keeping their homes and the surrounding yards attractive and inviting. Thus, the need for the enforcement committee. Just do the obvious: regularly mow, weed and trim the grass; power wash mold on the siding; put garbage cans away after pick-up; park your vehicles at the curb or in the driveway, not on the grass; keep the exterior free of detritus; etc.
The enforcement committee will ask you to correct the problem and give you time to respond. The enforcement committee can also ask the Board to fine violators who have been given notice of the infraction and have failed to take corrective action.
Thank you for your time and attention. As always, you can contact any board member with your concerns. We would especially like to see you at the annual membership meeting in December.
