Have you been wondering about the HOA board activities since we last met in June? Me, too.
As you know, the library was to be closed through July but did not officially reopen until October 15, just in time for early voting. The board will meet there on November 9th, 6:30 pm, to set the budget for calendar year 2027, and to discuss other board business. We have set the annual membership meeting at the library for January 27, 2027. I will be sending more information about that as we get closer to January. I could not get a room in December as I suspect everyone in need of a room was competing with me, so I had to move the meeting to January.
We have had questions about parking on our streets and driveways. We cannot prohibit the parking of pickup trucks, or commercial vehicles under 6,000 pounds tare. We can prohibit parking commercial vehicles on our driveways and streets over 26,000 pounds tare.
We now have a rental on Lot 40. Our docs permit 5 rental properties in Meadow Walk. Lot 40 is the fifth. Please keep this in mind if you have plans to sell.
Once I have the agenda for the November meeting, I will let you know that it has been posted on our website. If have issues that you would like the board to discuss at the membership meeting, please let any board member know.
