MEADOW WALK BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
October 18, 2005, 7:00 PM at the Colonial Oaks Park Meeting Room
Present: Joe Stewart, Betsy Dane, John Finlay, Andrea DelSanto
Absent: Josh Ridenour
oe called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM. The minutes from the July 28 Board meeting were read and approved unanimously.
The decision has been made to cancel the Holiday Party for this year. Next year, we will try to reinstate the local "cul-de-sac" type of party that the development hosted four years ago.
Eddie Martin has suggested that a concrete bench be placed at the entrance to Meadow Walk for the kids who wait for school busses. While this suggestion was well-received in its intent, it was decided that due to potential liability issues, as well as the potential to increase the presence of vagrants, we should not install benches.
A homeowner had asked if there were anything the Board could do about keeping non-residents from trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. The MW roads are county maintained and owned, so there isn't anything we can do.
Landscaping issues seem to have abated, and the monitoring of the wetlands is going well. It is anticipated that we will have passed the final inspections.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
Betsy Dane, Secretary/Treasurer
