MEADOW WALK BOARD OF DIRECTORS ANNUAL MEETING
December 18, 2012, 6:30 PM at the Fruitville Branch of the Sarasota Public Library

Directors Present: Gary Walsh, David Bennett, Betsy Dane, Tomas Jasek.
<strong>Absent:</strong> Betsy Dane. Meeting called to order at 6:35 p.m.

Opening Statements-
The minutes from the 9/30/12 meeting were read and approved.

Treasurers Report: Treasurer's report: The current balance in the bank is $30,556.30. Open bills to be paid by months end = $1,656.40, leaving a balance for year-end of $28,899.90. The budget results for 2012 & proposed for 2013 are as follows:

Old Business-
The ground cover at the front entrance is not looking good. Will have the contractor who installed last year (Wilhelm Brothers) come out and look at it. It may just need fertilizer.

The HOA received a letter from Southwest Florida Water Management District stating we no longer have to be on a monitoring basis for our wetlands and ponds. We will still have to have our lakes treated to control algae and weed growth. Our costs for the service will go down in future.

We have 8 homes with monies owed for HOA fee's and legal expenses regarding their foreclosures. The total is $9,460.30 as of the annual meeting. Four foreclosures account for $7,875.00 of the balance. We should collect this monies when the banks take title to the properties.

New Business:
We have an estimate from James Mcdonnell Painting to paint and repair the front wall. It is for a total of $6,000.00. ($1,800 material and $4,200 for labor). After a discussion with the board members and the homeowners present it was motioned by Bennett and seconded by Jasek and passed to have the wall painted.

There were no additional concerns to be discussed from the members present.

The ballots were counted and we were five short of our required 33. five additional ballots were secured from members not present. The election results were as follows:

Betsy Dane – 31 votes (two year term)
Shana Bickel – 33 votes (two year term)
Jordan Ramey – 33 votes (two year term
David Bennet – 33 votes (one year term)

All are now members of the board of directors for the HOA.

The meeting dates for 2013 are: April 1st, July 1st, September 30th, and the annual meeting will be held on December 16th.

With no further items to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
